The Hermosa Beach Police Department in conjunction with Project Childsafe is giving out free gun locks at the police station located at 540 Pier Avenue. Gun accidents are a leading cause of injury and death to children. These accidents are preventable by using the gun locks or storing handguns, rifles, and shotguns in locked safes or cabinets.
