Hermosa Beach Fire Department: Organizational Structure

Organizational structure
The Hermosa Beach Fire Department consists of one Fire Station with a total of 18 fire suppression personnel, one Assistant Fire Chief and one Fire Chief. There are three Platoons that rotate a 48 hour schedule, A, B, & C shifts. Currently, 16 out of 18 fire personnel have Paramedic status. Our one station covers the entire city of approximately 20,000 residents within 1.3 sq. miles.
