The HBFD has one station which houses three fire engines and two ambulances. Two engines are front line with one in reserve. E-11, a type I engine, is our first out engine that has a 55' aerial ladder capable of third story reaches. E-12 is a standard type I engine that backs up E-11 on fire calls, and responds on second call medical aids. E-13, also a Type I engine, is a back-up engine that can be placed into service at any time if one of the other engines goes out of service for repairs. Rescue-11 is an Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance staffed with two Paramedic/Firefighters, and Ambulance-12, is a Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance staffed be Reserve/ Firefighters that are EMT certified.
