STATEMENT OF MARY LOU WEISS

CANDIDATE FOR HERMOSA BEACH CITY GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION

Member of the City Council

Mary Lou Weiss has a proven record of integrity and leadership, as demonstrated by her sixteen years of service as a Hermosa Beach School Board Trustee.   She is leaving the School District fiscally sound and will use her budget and management talents on the City Council.

Mary Lou Weiss has strong community awareness and sound business experience.   She and her husband, Jim, have lived in Hermosa Beach for 30 years and have raised their two sons here.

Mary Lou will encourage and facilitate communication and collaboration between the City Council and the School Board to achieve a stronger community.   Her goal is to make Hermosa Beach a better place for all our citizens, with special emphasis on seniors and children.

Mary Lou Weiss believes that the City Council should reflect the Interests of the community it serves, through she knows that you can't please everyone all the time.   Mary Lou is able to deal effectively with community problems and will strive for harmonious, constructive solutions.

On November 6th elect Mary Lou Weiss - She has the commitment, desire, and expertise to be a positive force on the City Council.
