My name is Alan Benson and my Number One Goal as your Hermosa Beach City Council Member will be to act as an advocate to protect the rights of the residents of Hermosa Beach.

I have worked with a number of my neighbors on various problems in our Hermosa Beach neighborhood.

Working on these issues has allowed me to work with some Hermosa Beach City Council Members to address what is involved in neighborhood problem solving.

As part of this process, I developed a neighborhood website to assist Hermosa Beach residents in community problem solving.
