MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE CIVIL SERVICE BOARD
October 17, 2001 Regular Meeting

1. CALL TO ORDER

   The Civil Service Board Meeting of Wednesday, October 17, 2001 was called to order at 5:00 p.m.

3. REQUEST TO ADD ITEM TO AGENDA

   It was requested that this item be added to the agenda as it came up following the posting of the agenda and action is necessary at this meeting.

   Moved : Commissioner D'Amico
   Second : Commissioner Wisdom
   Opposed : None

   After discussion, the matter of setting a disciplinary appeal hearing was added to the agenda.

4. REQUEST HEARING OF DISCIPLINARY ACTION

   After discussion, the Board set the matter for hearing at a date to be determined.

   Second : Commissioner Warner
   Opposed : None

5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF THE AUGUST 15, 2001 REGULAR MEETING

   The Minutes were approved without comment.

   Second : Commissioner Warner
   Opposed : None

6. COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC

   None

7. REQUEST TO APPROVE CLASS SPECIFICATION FOR CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

   A new class specification for the position of Code Enforcement Officer was presented to the Board and approved without comment.

   Opposed : None

8. REQUEST TO CERTIFY ELIGIBILITY LIST FOR FIRE CAPTAIN

   The eligibility list for Fire Captain was presented to the Board and approved without comment.

   Second : Commissioner Blaco
   Opposed : None

9. REQUEST TO EXTEND ELIGIBILITY LIST FOR SR. ACCOUNT CLERK

   The eligibility list for Sr. Account Clerk was presented to the Board and approved without comment.

   Opposed : None
