Your trip will begin with the ultimate Hollywood experience; Madame Tussad’s Wax Museum! The museum opened mid-2009 next to the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. Sculptors produce wax figures of such quality and so lifelike that visitors often do a double take. You’ll see everyone from Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts to Clark Gable and Audrey Hepburn. After touring the museum, you’ll be treated to lunch at The Hamlet, which has been a Hollywood tradition since 1950 and a favorite of stars like Dean Martin, Tony Curtis and Debbie Reynolds. The menu features all-American food at it’s finest. The final stop of the day is at the newly renovated Griffith Observatory. During your visit, you'll have time to explore the two large new exhibit areas, the expanded bookstore, and the new state-of-the-art planetarium theater.

Join us for a stroll through the Gaslamp Quarter, a beautiful Victorian historic district in San Diego. The first stop of the day is the oldest building in Gaslamp, the William Heath Davis Historic House Museum. The museum was home to pre-civil war soldiers, a German Spy and Alonzo Horton, founder of San Diego. Each room represents a historic period of the home and is filled with fascinating stories about the former inhabitants. Next we will be met by a local historian to explore the Gaslamp quarter. The tour highlights the largest collection of restored Victorian style commercial buildings on the west coast. This trip includes lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory. At the end of the day, there will be free time to explore the Gaslamp Quarter on your own or to do a little shopping at Horton Plaza.

Explore the wide and varied architecture of pretty Pasadena with our favorite guide, John Daugherty. We’ll visit Bungalow Heaven, a street with Craftsman style homes that show Pasadena's importance in the history of the Arts and Crafts Movement. Other stops include Pasadena City Hall, The Gamble House, the Pasadena Library, the All Saint Church and more. Depending on availability, we will get off and see some of the sites up close. This fun and educational day also includes lunch at the Eden Bar and Grill which offers contemporary Mediterranean cuisine in a charming atmosphere.
